JAKARTA, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Huawei Indonesia, a subsidiary of Chinese tech and smartphone giant Huawei, was named as the winner of "Best 5G Innovative Technology" by Indonesia's Selular Media Group, Huawei Indonesia said here Tuesday.

The "Best 5G Innovative Technology," an award for information and communication technology (ICT) industry in Indonesia, reflects a high recognition of excellence in the country's ICT sector.

Huawei Indonesia said in a press release that this award is the recognition of Huawei's sustainable investment in R&D and Huawei will continue to promote and support the digitalization in Indonesia.

Besides bringing home the "Best 5G Innovative Technology," Huawei was also awarded "Best Camera Smartphone" for the Huawei P30 Pro by Selular.
