MADRID, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values rose by 0.19 percent on Thursday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening on 9,192.70 and closing on 9,209.80 points.

A total of 18 of the 35 of the selected large companies saw their shares gain value in the day, while 17 made losses.

Thursday's best performer was the airline group IAG, with a 1.40 percent rise in share values, followed by property company Inmobiliaria Colonial, with a 1.03 percent increase, and energy company Red Electrica Corporacion, which saw shares up by 1.00 percent.

Renewable energy and cellulose producer ENCE Energia y Celulosa saw shares reduced by 5.33 percent of their value, while shares in steel producer Arcelormittal dropped by 2.38 percent and there was a 1.75 percent loss in shares for industrial group CIE Automotive. Enditem
