ISLAMABAD, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday reaffirmed the country's commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing sustained diplomatic engagement aimed at de-escalation and dialogue in the region and beyond.
Addressing a conference in Islamabad, Dar said Pakistan continues to pursue efforts that promote peace, progress and prosperity, describing them as central elements of the country's national vision, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The foreign minister also highlighted the importance of diplomacy and constructive engagement in addressing regional challenges and maintaining stability. ■
